Brewing Guide

Espresso (Portafilter / Semi-automatic) Grind size: Fine · Yield: 19.9 g in / 40 g out · Extraction time: 20–25 seconds · Water temperature: 95°C · Best enjoyed as a pure espresso shot to fully experience the floral and fruit complexity.

Fully Automatic Machine Use a fine grind setting and adjust strength to preference. Recommended black — milk will soften the delicate floral notes.

Filter / Pour Over Grind size: Medium-fine · Ratio: 60 g/L · Water temperature: 93–94°C · Use low-mineral water to preserve the clarity and aromatic detail of the cup.

Expect a dense, velvety crema, a vibrant and refined acidity, and a long, complex finish — every cup an occasion.

F.A.Q.

What is Gesha coffee? Gesha (also spelled Geisha) is one of the rarest and most prized Arabica varieties in specialty coffee, originally traced to the Gori Gesha forest in Ethiopia. It is known for its distinctive floral, tea-like, and fruit-forward cup profile.

Why is Gesha so rare? Gesha plants produce lower yields than most commercial varieties and require specific high-altitude conditions to express their full aromatic potential, making them a true limited-edition offering.

What does washed process mean? In washed processing, the coffee cherry's fruit is removed before drying, producing a cleaner, more defined cup that highlights the bean's intrinsic character and origin.
